Day 15 - 30 Days of Gratitude Challenge: Write Down Your Favourite Affirmations

Affirmations can really help change your mindset. They can really offer a lot of positivity if you’re going through a hard time in your life. I used to say affirmations every morning when I woke up for awhile but I suddenly stopped. As life get’s really hectic, I tend to forget to do the habit! Today is definitely a great reminder for me to get back into them. :)

Sometimes I feel they can be really helpful and I do believe they can help you too. You just need to find the ones that speak to you. There is no point saying an affirmation if it doesn’t really mean anything to you or if you don’t believe it.

Here are my favourite affirmations:

  • Waking up in the morning I smile, I have another 24 hours to live. I vow to live them deeply and to look at the beings around with me eyes of compassion - This one is by Thich Nhat Hanh, one of my favourite monks who speaks about mindfulness.

  • I am loved and supported.

  • I am where I’m suppose to be.

  • My past does not dictate my future.
