My Favourite Concealer Hacks

concealer hacks Nothing covers blemishes, weird spots, redness and dark circles better than concealer. I never knew how much I depended on concealer until I realised that my NARS Creamy Concealer was drying up! Since then I've moved to my new favourite, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer.

I'm sharing my favourite concealer hacks that I do all the time and thought you might want to try some of them out yourself!

The best concealer hacks

  1. Covering blemishes: Dab a small amount of concealer on the blemish and then using a small concealer brush blend it out into the skin.
  2. Cut crease: Using a tiny small concealer brush, apply a thin layer of concealer on your lid to cut the crease. Set the concealer with powder.  Here's a handy tutorial to learn how to do a simple cheat cut crease:

     3. Cleaning up your eyeshadow: Simply take an angled brush and apply concealer following from the bottom lash line and swiping in an upward motion towards the end of your brow. This will create a cat eye makeup look. Don't forget to blend the concealer in.

4. Under eye concealer: Using a peach coloured correcter, correct the dark circles. Then apply a concealer the same shade as your skin tone on top.

5. Fix liquid eyeliner mistakes: Instead of taking your entire eye makeup look off, I like to take concealer on a very tiny brush and fix any liquid eyeliner mistakes (which happens every single time!). Once it has dried, I will go over with the liquid eyeliner to re-do the liner.
