April Favourites & Highlights

april favourites, beauty, colorpop, maybelline Wow. It literally feels like I just did last month's favourites & highlights! It's crazy how time flies when you're busy!

April Beauty Favourites

As always let's start with the makeup and beauty favourites! :)

Maybelline The Falsies Push-Up Drama Waterproof Mascara

I've had this mascara for a few months now but I'm really starting to appreciate how it separates the lashes and helps lift them up too.

It's a waterproof formula which means when I curl my lashes (which I need to every single time), the formula is great at holding the curl. I don't find it difficult to remove the mascara at all like most waterproof formulas are.

The wand is quite skinny as well so I find this helps with preventing any clumps that may occur.

Colourpop X ILUVSARAHII Ultra Glossy Lip in Curvii

This lip gloss was recently purchased in my Colourpop haul which I'm sure you've seen on my YouTube Channel. It's the perfect nude pink gloss that you can apply without a mirror and you'll never have to worry about making a mistake. The shade itself is perfect for every day and the gloss formula is really moisturising on the lips.

Colourpop Flexitarian Super Shock Cheek Highlighter

Again this is from my recent Colourpop haul. It's super pigmented and gives you the nicest glow that isn't too overbearing! I love to spray MAC Fix Plus on my brush to really amplify the highlighter on my skin when I apply it.

Elizabeth & James Nirvana White

Funny enough, I have so many of these mini's lying around. I have no idea why I don't have the full bottle but I do plan to buy it soon!

It's one of my favourite perfumes that I wear every day. It has a combination of peony and musk which both are my favourite scents that I look for in a fragrance!

April Book Favourites

Into the Water by Paula Hawkins

I actually starting reading this book via a recommendation from a uni friend. It's the same author as "Girl on the Train" which I read in two days! So I figured this has to be just a good.

When I started reading it I noticed it was a little slow, then I got into the main plot of the novel and I wasn't really impressed. I had high expectations of this novel that I kinda found it a little hard to read in the end. It just didn't have that hook I needed to read it. I'm almost done, just in the last few chapters now.

The novel is centred around the death of a woman who was writing a tell-all book on the mysterious deaths that were occurring in her small town!

April Music Favourites

This month I expanded out of my usual comfort zone and searched for other tunes that I normally wouldn't listen too!

Here's my playlist for April:

Let me know which is your favourite from what I was listening too in April!
