My Favourite Cream Contouring Products
Today I'm sharing my favourite cream contouring products. I really love contouring because it can really change your face shape and it helps bring forward your best features.
It took me awhile to get the technique down packed but with a little bit of practice, I got the hang of it.
For this blog post, I will be focusing only on the contouring shades and I will do a separate post on highlighting products.
Australis AC On Tour Contouring & Highlight Cream Kit
I have the palette in the 'Light' shade. I really like this shade kit for my skin tone. If I get too tanned over the summer the shades still work for me and if I'm pale during winter, the shades are not too dark.
The cream formula is easy to blend with either a sponge or brush. It blends really nicely into the skin and this makes your job easier when it comes to contouring. There is nothing worse than having a contour that appears like a 'Mars Bar' on the sides of your cheekbones.
You can purchase the kit in the light shade or the cool shade version.
If you're looking for an easy cream contouring kit to practice how to contour, I'd recommend this product. It's affordable and you can purchase this at any Priceline store.
Fenty Beauty Match Stix in Amber
This is one of my favourite cream contouring sticks in a cool tone. The reason I like to contour with a cool shade brown rather than a warm brown sometimes because it appears natural on the skin like a shadow. Be careful how much you apply because cool town browns can appear muddy if not blended or applied correctly.
I like the formula of the Fenty Beauty Match Stix in Amber, it's slightly dry and that's a good thing! The reason why it's a pro rather than a con is because it won't move around when you try to blend in the product. I find that sometimes creamy formula's that aren't made well can slip around.
These are relatively affordable at only $37AUD and you can purchase these at your local Sephora.
