Makeup Bag January ft. Non Beauty Favourites
Makeup Bag January // Better late than never! This month I honestly felt like I was re-using the same old products from the last months. I even went back and viewed the last two month's of 'Makeup Bag' and proved that to myself.
So I thought this month and try to make it a little different by telling one awesome makeup product that I have been using consistently through the month of January and also share some non-beauty favourites. That way you guys can also get to know the non-beauty side of me :)
MAC's Matte Lipstick in Diva
I never shy away from a dark bold lip. I know it's the last month of summer and I've been wearing dark bold lips all season :P. I continue to do so through autumn and winter, probably for the rest of the year too. I'm definitely going through a phase of dark lipsticks. I got MAC's Diva not so long ago when a girlfriend of mine went to Hawaii and bought us some MAC products. I requested 'Diva' from the matte lipstick range after a recommendation from of my Instagram followers! It's a nice dark berry shade that is really great for any occasion.

Nu Me Curling Wand (32mm)
I ordered this curling wand off the Nu Me website about two months ago. I must admit it was really hard to get to using a curling wand without the clamp. I've been using a standard curler since I was 16, so without the clamp it was really weird trying to get into the idea of just wrapping your hair around basically a heated stick. Quite to the contrary you get really nice results. I really love the look it gives, it just isn't the same as the curls I get from a straightener. You can definitely order these curling wands straight from their website and the shipping isn't too bad. I was lucky enough to use a discount code to get at least 50% off my curling wand. They often do have sales were you can get really great deals on their products, so I recommend signing up to their mailing lists.
Nine West Heels
I wear these heels at least 2-3 times a week. I wear them to work and if I want to, I'll wear them casually on the weekend. They're super comfy and I just love how they look similar to those really cute Valentino heels. The nude colour makes it easy to style with any outfit too.
Yeah well enough said about these. They're my favourite sneaker at the moment. I find them super super comfy and chic.
