Summer Skincare Routine 2015/2016
Summer is becoming one of my favourite seasons now! I'm all the way a winter girl. I love to cuddle under the blanket, have hot chocolate and I enjoy winter fashion so much! But now since we're in the middle of summer, I love going to the beach, having beach hair, wearing cute sandals and getting tanned!
However lately, the weather has gone from super scorching hot to pouring rain. This takes a major toll on my skin. It will be clear and smooth to really patchy and dry!
I've had to think of different products to help assist my skin in becoming normal again when the weather tends to change dramatically in Sydney.
The products I use in my Summer Skincare Routine:
Lush's 9 to 5 Cleanser
This one is a new one that I've used this season, its a simple cleanser that doesn't dry out your skin and has a pleasant scent. Only a little goes a long way for your entire face and I find that it really just cleans your face on the surface. I wouldn't recommend using this to get makeup off but its a great one to use in the mornings. For the night time I like to use something a tad stronger like an oil cleanser ( if I have been wearing makeup all day)
Origins Never A Dull Moment Facial Exfoliator
This I've talked about very briefly in my Winter Skincare Routine 2015 post. This product I still haven't managed to finish, however it does a great gentle exfoliating of the skin. I use this about 1-2 times a week and it doesn't leave the skin dry as well. I believe it's important to take any dead skin off the surface to reveal that lovely natural glow on your skin!
Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturiser
I very hefty moisturiser but a great one it is! Very light on the skin I feel it does a great job of moisturising the skin. In summer I think its not such a great idea to use a very heavy cream on the skin to go to bed. This one is great for those with sensitive skin!
Origins Gin Zing Eye Cream
Still using the same eye cream I've been using for more than over a year now! This one is a great one for reducing any puffiness and darkness around the eye area!
